Buying on the Internet vs. Brick & Mortar Store

One of the benefits of buying on line is better prices. The discounts that you can receive on line make it well worth waiting for it to arrive at your door.  You can easily compare prices between a number of retailers and your selection and availability is never an issue when buying online.

Accessible anywhere, anytime. All you need is an internet connection and you are done. No driving. No lines. No hassle.  Although buying from your neighborhood store may seem quick and convenient, there are some great on line perks that you will miss out on if you do.

The online stores have a major advantage to retailers: No overhead. The costs of store rentals, staff, security, and inventory are all factored into the price of your diamond, no matter how much they tell you it's a good deal.

As long as you don't purchase an item from within your state, it cannot be taxed. As jewelry can cost in the thousands of dollars, tax can add a huge amount to your total.

A few other options to consider buying from retail stores include: Goods made locally; stuff that you are more likely to return (like clothes) if you can't try it on first; and, supporting stores who are owned and operated by locals, pay local taxes, and make where you live a more interesting place.
